Certificates of Insurance

Certificates the same day, worded the way your contract requires

A COI should never be the reason a job start slips. Send the requirement, get the certificate — and if something in the contract does not match your policy, we will tell you before it becomes a problem.

Same business day, usually within the hour

Send the request during business hours and it goes out the same day. Most standard certificates are issued in under 60 minutes because we are not waiting on a carrier portal queue.

Correct wording the first time

Send us the insurance requirements page from your contract. We match the additional insured, waiver of subrogation, primary and non-contributory, and description-of-operations language exactly so it does not bounce back.

Standing requests and renewals

Tell us which customers need a certificate every year and we issue them automatically at renewal — before the general contractor's compliance vendor starts emailing you.

We flag what you can't actually provide

If a contract demands coverage your policy does not include, we tell you before you sign rather than issuing a certificate that misrepresents your program.

Request a certificate

Send the details below and we will issue the COI with the exact wording your contract requires — usually within the hour during business hours.

A certificate is evidence of coverage on the date issued; it does not amend your policy. Additional insured status requires an endorsement, which we verify before issuing.

What to include in your request

  • The exact legal name and address of the certificate holder
  • Whether they need to be named as an additional insured
  • Whether a waiver of subrogation is required
  • Project name, address, or contract number for the description field
  • Any specific limit requirements from the contract
  • The deadline — tell us if it is blocking a start date

A note on what a certificate is

A certificate of insurance is evidence that coverage existed on the date it was issued. It does not amend your policy, and it does not create coverage on its own. Being named as an additional insured requires a real endorsement on the policy — which is why we check the policy rather than simply typing a name into a form.

If a customer asks for something your program cannot support, you have three options: change the policy, negotiate the contract language, or decline the requirement. We will lay out the cost of each so you can decide with real numbers.
